Dr. Lavi graduated UMDNJ Dental School (now Rutgers) in 1999 and NYU’s Post Graduate Orthodontic program in 2003. For 16 years he maintained a private practice in New York and Israel, using aligner therapy only sparingly. In 2019, he relocated to Maryland, where he first discovered the clinical advantages of clear aligner therapy in early mixed dentitions.
Using Invisalign First as a holistic treatment modality, Dr. Lavi has become a Blue Diamond Invisalign provider in a practice with a patient population dominated by children. As an Align faculty member and peer mentor, Dr. Lavi urges his colleagues to reimagine the timing of comprehensive orthodontic treatment. He believes that the undeniably profound results of pediatric Aligners will transform what is commonly considered “early treatment” into “timely treatment”.
